The Bettger Team believes in taking an active part in our communities and in giving back.  We live here, our children go to school here, we work here, we play here.  Below are just a few examples of the activities that we participate in.

Military

The Bettger Team worked on the Welcoming Committee for the U.S.S. Ronald Reagan, including a picnic and Padres game for the crew.  We also participated in an onboard business fair to welcome the sailors to San Diego.  

Chambers of Commerce

The Bettger Team has been a sponsor for Celebrate Chula Vista, an event honoring Chula Vista police and fire fighters.  The Bettger Team are pround members of the Chula Vista Chamber of Commerce, the Otay Mesa Chamber of Commerce, and the National City Chamber of Commerce.  Jeff Bettger has been the 2005 and 2006 Chair of the Chula Vista Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program.

Education

During their first annual Bettger Team Scholorships to our local Southwestern College.  In the second year, The Bettger Team awarded a scholorship to one individual from each of the high schools in the Sweetwater Union High School District.  The Bettger Team also participates regularly as guest speakers in school classrooms, talking about business to High School students, or reading books to Elementary School students.

Truck Use

The Bettger Team Moving Truck was donated to take a full load of donations to aid wildfire victims.  

Board of REALTORS®

Gisela Sallee serves on the Board of Directors for the Pacific SouthWest Association of REALTORS®.  Jeff Bettger serves as the 2006 President - Elect for the same association as well as a Director for the California Association of REALTORS®.

Board of Directors

Jeff Bettger serves on the Board of Directors for the South Bay Family YMCA and on the Community Board of Advisors for Scripps Mercy Chula Vista Hospital.

Cancer Relay

The Bettger Team is serving as the Team Development Chair for the American Cancer Society's Relay fundraiser to take place June 2 & 3 at Chula Vista High School
